TubaChristmas Concert Recording – Fond du Lac, WI (2025)
A festive indoor holiday concert featuring low-brass musicians as part of the annual TubaChristmas tradition. This performance was directed by Dr. Devin Otto, Director of Bands at UW–Oshkosh.

The Work
This event was recorded using a three-camera setup, including two static wide shots and one manned camera for detail and coverage. Audio was recorded on-site and refined in post-production using cleanup and balancing tools to deliver a clear and consistent listening experience. The final program was assembled in post-production, allowing for smooth transitions and a polished viewing experience.
Production Notes
Because this was a live community event without rehearsal access or shot planning time, careful post-production editing was essential to create a cohesive final program. Camera angles were balanced to highlight both the full ensemble and individual sections.
Why This Matters
This project demonstrates the ability to capture live music performances in real-world conditions, even when advance planning time is limited. It also highlights a thoughtful, respectful approach to community-based events and ensemble performances.
